Meet Veronica - featured on "Plastic Wives" a new series on TLC

Veronica Matlock is a mother of two and wife of Dr. David Matlock. She is a Registered Nurse and worked in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Loma Linda University Medical Center for a number of years.

Pursuing her education has always been a goal of hers. She is currently a graduate student at Cal State Fullerton and will be graduating in May of 2013, with a Master of Science in Nursing degree (MSN).

One of her favorite pastimes is traveling abroad. The knowledge and understanding that is gained from exposure to other cultures is what continues to fuel this passion of hers. Some of her favorite destinations include: Dubai, Singapore, Tahiti, Paris, London, and South Africa.

Looking good and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are also of upmost importance to Veronica. To maintain her physique, she does circuit training and cardio four days a week. While she admits to having a newly acquired “sweet tooth,” she sticks to a diet that is high in protein and vegetables while allowing for small amounts of healthy carbs as well. She is a firm believer in the notion that “looking good means feeling good.”
